What is the most fun part of your job?
Creating and coming up with content and campaigns. That’s what I like most about my job at Abrazi.
Last October, we also did a very fun shoot in Sophie Laubert’s new studio. Organizing this shoot was a lot of work but a lot of fun, and when you see the final result, I am very proud of the whole team!
That’s definitely one of the fun parts of my job; seeing how hard we work with such a small team and then seeing the beautiful end results. I can only be proud of that.
What is your go-to work outfit?
Jeans, sneakers (or uggs), and a sweater. Today I look chic, but often I choose the most comfortable clothing.
Gold or silver?
Oh, gold. I wore silver for a long time, but I think gold goes better with my hair color, it’s a little warmer.
What is the first thing you do in the morning?
The first thing I do in the morning is splash cold water on my face. Then I take care of my face with face cream and other skin care, then I make a coffee and go and do my makeup.
Without what can’t you start your day?
Uhm, coffee and listening to music - I do that as soon as I get out of bed, turn on the music directly through the box.
Who or what inspires you?
I think it’s definitely Team Abrazi, it may sound very cliché, but I get very motivated and inspired by everyone in the office and their hard work. But also when I scroll through Pinterest: the large number of creative images and videos also inspire me.
App or Call?
I hate calling, but I also hate texting nowadays. It’s really annoying when you have a lot of unread messages, so I’d rather call because it’s faster.
What is your favourite dish?
I like pasta very much, but I also like sushi a lot. Can’t choose.
What would you serve at your wedding?
I think as a late night snack - when everyone is drunk - I think I will order Mcdonald’s or have a food truck with fast food come, that seems so fun and delicious.
What did you want to be when you were little?
I went through different phases. It started with princess, but then that’s way back. When I got some kind of realisation that I really had to have a job, I thought the police were really cool. But I’m not very sporty, so it never became that. After that, I wanted to do something with decorating houses.
What do you think is the most iconic wedding?
Rianne Meijer’s wedding was very beautiful, but maybe that’s also because she is Dutch, which makes it close. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ wedding. Priyanka had on so many beautiful dresses and they had organised two kinds of weddings.
Favourite restaurant?
Corner store! Stands out head and shoulders above it for me. Everything there is delicious and exceptionally prepared, the atmosphere is so fun and cosy. Very different from other restaurants in Amsterdam. It is in Noord so you have to go there by ferry, which also gives you the feeling of getting out of the city
What is the best advice you have received or can give?
“You shouldn’t worry so much about everything.” I think that’s it, everything works out in the end, you just have to get on with your life. I’ve been given the advice a few times, but I still find it hard to apply it myself.
What is your favourite item from Abrazi?
Definitely the threader, this necklace - the Thin magic chain - and the Magic bracelet. And for men, it would be the Half Moon cufflinks, the dark blue ones.
